Kevin F. Friel, 66, of Silverdale, passed away on Sunday May 28, 2017 in his home.  He was the loving Husband of Diane (Christensen) Friel, and they had celebrated their 38th anniversary.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Griffin) Friel.

He was employed at Merck and Co. for 41 years where he had worked in various positions.

In his free time, he loved the Eagles, Philadelphia Flyers Hockey, supporting Lehigh University Football through their Booster Club, Did we mention the Eagles? He had season Tickets for 36 years and traveled with them to New Orleans for their Super Bowl Appearance.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons: Kevin and Daniel, both of Perkasie, and a brother; Timothy Finn. He is also survived by many loving friends and neighbors among these are "Poppy's Buddies":  Giovanni, Nicholas and Vincent. Kevin was predeceased by a brother, Jack Friel.


A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 9 Broad St. Hilltown, PA 18927. Friends and family are welcome to call from 8:30 AM until time for Mass.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin's name to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Ave, Sellersville, PA. 18960
