Yvonne Masel, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Grand View Health, Sellersville, PA.  She was 79.

Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late H. Richard "Dick" and Rena (Alderfer) Masel.  A 1963 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, she went on to attend Kutztown State College, Kutztown, PA.

Ms. Masel was employed by Kraft Foods, Allentown, PA, in customer service from 1996 until retiring in 2008.  Previously, she worked as a nurses' aide at Dock Terrace, Lansdale, PA, for 15 years, and for the French's Mustard Co., Souderton, PA.

She was a member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, Telford, PA.

Ms. Masel served for a number of years with VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) in Florida.  A member of the Sellersville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, she also volunteered with "A Woman's Place", Doylestown, PA, and with Habitat for Humanity over the years.

An avid gardener and bowling enthusiast, she especially loved dining at the A & N Diner, Sellersville.

She is survived by her foster daughter, Sharon Rose, of Sellersville; three foster grandchildren, Justin Rose, Shaina Gordon and her husband Sean, and Javon Rose; three foster great-grandchildren, Aubree, Messiah and Malachi Gordon; and a brother, Richard Thomas Masel and his wife Nancy of Aurora, CO.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in the adjacent Christ Reformed Church of Indian Creek Cemetery.
