Treacy, Iii
February 26, 1949 – October 18, 2025
William E. "Bill" Treacy, III, of Hewitt, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 in the Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown, PA. He was 76.
He was the loving husband of Pamela A. (Rossi) Treacy. The couple celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on May 6, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William E., II and Dorothy M. (Rauenzahn) Treacy and the stepson of Hertha M. Treacy. He was a 1968 graduate of Central Bucks High School, Doylestown, PA.
Bill worked for the John Joseph Drilling and Blasting Company, West Milford, NJ for over 10 years, retiring in 2009. Prior to that he was with Gardner Denver Company, Horsham, PA and the Tamrock Company, Chicago, IL.
He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Hewitt, NJ where he volunteered with the church food pantry.
A lifetime member of the Springtown Rod and Gun Club, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, boating, water and snow skiing and golf. He especially enjoyed traveling down to the British Virgin Islands as well as Mexico and Florida.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Michael W. Treacy and Sean P. Treacy, both of Perkasie, PA; two grandchildren, Shamus Treacy and Scarlett Treacy; seven brothers and sisters, James Treacy and his wife Meg, of Coopersburg, PA, Mary Gallagher and her husband Mark, of Erdenheim, PA, Elizabeth DiDomizio and her husband Larry, of Lansdale, PA, Monica Zacharias, of Skippack, PA, Patricia Treacy, of Harleysville, PA, Kathleen Marsee, of Perkasie, PA and Anne Marie Treacy, of Perkasie, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Francis B. Treacy in 2007 and a brother, Richard F. Treacy.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
