O'Brien
March 24, 1954 – June 3, 2024
William O' Brien, 70, of Hatfield, PA, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, at his residence.
He and his beloved wife Judith (Brown) O' Brien would have celebrated their 43rd anniversary in November.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late James and Catherine (Klinke) O' Brien.
William was employed as a senior project manager for D'Lauro and Rodgers Inc. of Fort Washington for over 20 years. In his spare time Mr. O' Brien enjoyed listening to Irish music and was proud of his Irish Heritage. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and was known to have many famous "Aunt Margie" stories. Mr. O' Brien was also immensely proud to host his family's Thanksgiving dinners. He also served as Boy Scout leader for Troop 4 St. Francis DeSales in Lenni which produced a few Eagle Scouts.
In addition to his wife, William is survived by a daughter; Deirdre O'Brien of Chichester, two sons; Francis O' Brien and his wife Liz of Telford and Daniel O'Brien of Chester PA and three grandchildren; Mackenzie, Camille and Gabriel. Mr. O' Brien is also survived by three sisters; Margaret D'Alfonso and her husband Dominic of Philadelphia, Theresa Owens and her husband John of Philadelphia, and Ann Jenkins and her husband Paul of Glenside, PA, two brothers; Patrick O' Brien and his wife Doris of Marlton NJ, and Peter O' Brien and his wife Denise of Philadelphia. He is also survived by fourteen Nieces and Nephews.
An evening visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home & Crematory. 33 N. Main Street, Telford, PA. 18969. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. 1601 Derstine Road. Hatfield, PA. 19440, Family will receive friends from 10:00AM until time of service in the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial Contributions can be made in William's name to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement. 333 Cottman Ave. Philadlephia, PA. 19111.
