William (Willie) N. Konyk passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 88 years. Born May 22, 1936, on the family farm in Almont, PA, he was the seventh of seven children of Alexander and Josephine Konyk. Willie was pre-deceased by his brothers Nicholas (Grace), Walter (Dorothy), George (Rose), John (Betty) and his sisters Philomena (Robert) and Anna (Donald).

When he was 8 years old the family moved to Hatfield, PA, where Willie attend St. Stanislaus School and becoming part of the last graduating class of Hatfield High School (1955).

Along with his wife of 21 years, Florence (Linder) Lynch, they were parents to Christopher (Lora), Cynthia, Michael and Steven (Janice). Marrying Joan (Friedrich) DeMuro in 1982 added her daughters Diana, Carla (Gary) and Gina (Randy) to the blended family which now includes 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.  Willie and Joan were married for 43 years and especially enjoyed spontaneous road trips as well as vacations with family and dear friends.

For 50 years Willie worked as a self-employed skilled carpenter and general contractor. His honesty, friendliness and strong work ethics aided in making his business successful.  He took pride in his work and in pleasing his customers.  He particularly enjoyed helping his family with their home projects.

Willie was a member of the Sellersville American Legion and the Telford VFW where he shared a few beers and may (often corny) jokes with friends and acquaintances.  Willie loved to laugh; sometimes so hard you'd catch him wiping away tears of mirth.

Willie was a kind and gentle man who loved people, animals and traveling. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life will take place on May 24, 2025 at 12 PM, McCoole's Red Lion, Quakertown, PA. All friends and family are welcome.
