Baringer
January 4, 1939 – April 16, 2024
William E. Baringer, of Bedminster Twp. and formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home, Doylestown Twp., PA. He was 85.
He was the loving husband of Janet L. (Luff) Baringer. The couple had celebrated their 21st Wedding Anniversary on January 12, 2024.
Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Elwood K. and Thelma A. (Stader) Baringer. He was a 1957 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.
Mr. Baringer was employed as a machinist with Reube's Machine & Tool Co., Lansdale, PA, for 55 years until retiring in 2014.
A former member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, PA, he attended the Presbyterian Church of Deep Run, Perkasie.
Mr. Baringer was a life member of the Perkasie Fire Company where he volunteered in roles as Assistant Chief, Trustee, Engineer, Driver and "Pancake Flipper". He was also a member of the Bucks County Firemen's Association.
A member of the Perkasie Owls Club Nest #1224 as well as the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1539, Sellersville, he loved hunting and fishing particularly "blue fishing". He also enjoyed horseback riding and skiing, and he was especially fond of his Great Dane dogs.
Surviving with his wife are two stepchildren, Sharon L. Krieg and her husband Carl, of Churchville, PA, and Brett Woosnam, of Silverdale, PA; four step grandchildren, Carl Krieg and his wife Taylor, Amy Krieg and her fiancé Paul Goldbeck, Dylan Woosnam and his wife Katelyn, and Devon Woosnam; two step great-grandchildren, Carl and Otto Krieg; and a brother, Eric B. Baringer and his wife Andrea, of Morrisville, VT.
The Family will receive friends during a Calling Period from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie.
Graveside Services with interment in St. Stephen's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Perkasie, will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Perkasie Fire Company, P. O. Box 203, Perkasie, PA 18944.
