"Bill" Dietz
August 15, 1935 – March 28, 2022
Wesley William "Bill" Dietz, 86, of Richland Twp., PA, known as "Pops" to his family and friends, or the "Energizer Bunny," was called home on Monday, March 28, 2022, at his residence. He was embraced into the arms of his loving late wife, Doris M. (Martin) Dietz, and greeted by his late son, Douglas Todd Dietz.
Born in Quakertown, PA, he was a son of the late Wesley and Mary E. (Hager) Dietz.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served his country from 1954-1956.
He owned and operated WW Dietz & Sons Lawn Care business for many years, and worked as a carpenter/contractor, building many homes in the Quakertown area. In his earlier years, he worked for the former J. G. Furniture Company in Quakertown.
Mr. Dietz was a very faithful member of Quakertown United Methodist Church where he loved helping with their chicken bbq dinners. A huge Penn State Football fan, he loved traveling with his family to both their home and away games and tailgating. He enjoyed watching Philadelphia Eagles Football, and treasured many family outings.
He is survived by a son, William J. Dietz and his wife Ana of Quakertown, two daughters: Brenda Lee Golanoski and her husband Gregory of Castle Rock, CO, Cheryl Ann Laumakis and her husband Joseph of Quakertown, seven grandchildren: Joshua, Krystal, Wesley, Samantha, Ashley, Joey, Brittany, thirteen great grandchildren: Ethan, Quest, Lorelei, Hunter, Kylie, Kamryn, Joey, Milo, James, Danny, Harper, Hudson, Haylee, Joshua, Jaxon, and a sister, Laura Clymer and her companion Wally Rothrock of Quakertown, and his longtime companion, Jeanette Landis of Richland Twp.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 10 AM in the Quakertown Union Cemetery, Cemetery Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 AM in the Quakertown United Methodist Church, 1875 Freier Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951. Memorial Contributions in Bill's name can be made to a charity of ones choice.
Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford.
