Violet E. Sterner, formerly of Hilltown Twp., PA., passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Lutheran Community at Telford, Telford, PA.  She was 87.

She was the loving wife of 63 years of the late Clifford R. Sterner until his passing on April 24, 2019.

Born in Plumstead Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Edna (Sassaman) Knechel.  She was a 1952 graduate of Doylestown High School, Doylestown, PA.

Mrs. Sterner was employed as a Secretary for Bucks County Domestic Relations for 14 years until retiring in 2005.  Previously, she worked for the former Jacques DeLoux Sweater Factory, Sellersville, PA, for 15 years.

She was a long-time member of Solomon's United Church of Christ, Perkasie, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

A member of the Plumsteadville 4-H Club, Mrs. Sterner especially enjoyed snowmobiling in the Adirondack Mountains and crocheting.

Surviving are two children, Carol Ann Dzurenda and her husband Robert, and Gerald Sterner and his wife Rebecca, all of Quakertown, PA; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew and his wife Ashley, Bryan, Ashlyn and her husband Matthew and Cody; and four great-grandchildren, Mason, Rowan, Adelyn and Robert.  She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Solomon's United Church of Christ, 2990 Bedminster Road, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Kellers Church Cemetery, Perkasie.
