Timothy A.
Wright
October 3, 1965 – September 1, 2022
Timothy A. Wright, of Souderton, PA, passed peacefully into the Arms of Jesus on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Grand View Health, West Rockhill Twp., PA. He was 56.
Born in Doylestown, PA, he was the son of the late G. Melvin and Marilyn (Parker) Wright. He was a 1983 graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Doylestown, PA, where he was a member of the Football and Baseball Teams.
Tim worked as a flooring installer for Wright Flooring, Silverdale, PA, from 1983 until retiring in 2015. When given the opportunity to work for his brother at Wright Flooring, Tim, as a young man, discovered he had a multitude of creativity and talent, especially when he did tile work. He left behind many customers who were not only incredibly happy with the outcome of his craft but were left feeling as though they had someone who wasn't just a "hired craftsman" but that they had a friend who no doubt left them in stitches with his sense of humor.
A sports enthusiast, Tim played baseball in the American Legion Baseball League and softball for the North Penn Gun Club in his younger years. He was also a long-time fan of Philadelphia Flyers Ice Hockey and Pittsburgh Steelers Football.
Tim had a passion for cooking and listening to "Pink Floyd" music. He particularly loved spending time at the family cabin in Central Pennsylvania. He will especially be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor.
He is survived by his former wife, Christine G. Wright, of Pennsburg, PA; three children, Phillip D. Wright and his wife Lauren, of Easton, MA, April M. Wright, of Pennsburg, PA, and Eric T. Wright and his girlfriend Megan, of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren, Olivia M. Wright and Lily Wright; a brother, Melvin J. "Rocky" Wright and his wife Alison, of Quakertown, PA; a sister, Nancy Lynn Loveless and her husband John, of Effort, PA and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary M. Wright.
His Funeral Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Flyers Charities at www. https://www.nhl.com/flyers/community/flyers-charities .
Tim's Legacy lives on in his children and those who love him.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
