Tamar E. Sharkey 76, formerly of Schwenksville, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 in Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by loved ones.  She was a wife of the late Jim Sharkey and of Richard Siegfried.

Born in Reading, PA, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Elaine (Stofer) Aker.

Tamar was employed in the production line at J & J. Soft Pretzel Co. of Lansdale and later as a production line associate at Jet Plastica of Lansdale.

Mrs. Sharkey loved to crochet and do crossword puzzles. Her favorite TV shows were The Any Griffith Show and M*A*S*H. She was also known to be very fond of Cheese Puffs and ICEEs. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she dearly loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her sons; David Stercula and his girlfriend Julie Dameron of Schwenksville, Patty and Mike Staropoli of Quakertown, Bobby Siegfried of Lansdale, John Siegfried of Tylersport, and Bill Aker. She is also survived by grandchildren, Mikey, Michelle and Melissa, and great-grandchild Rosalynn. Tamar is also survived by her sister; Teralin Aker and her husband Jim of Camptown, PA. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son Ricky Siegfried, a brother Thomas F. Aker and a great-grandchild Eliza Staropoli.
