Stephen "Steve" Mazurek, of Hilltown Township, PA, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home.  He was 93.

He was the loving husband of the late Mary Ellen B. (Murphy) Mazurek until her passing on September 14, 2013.

Mr. Mazurek worked as a diesel mechanic for 45 years his last employment with Case, Power & Equipment, Montgomeryville, PA, until retiring in 1994.  He was known for his dedicated and strong work ethic.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown, PA.

Known for his onion and mayonnaise sandwiches and for randomly breaking into song, Mr. Mazurek had a knack for repairing "anything and everything".  He enjoyed attending various area carnivals, cruising and vacationing in Wildwood, NJ.

Mr. Mazurek will be fondly remembered for his caring manner, taking care of his animals including his horses, dogs and cat, but especially for his love for his family and joy in playing with his granddaughter, Jenna.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Benson and her husband Gary, and Rae Ellen Huck, all of Hilltown, PA; two grandchildren, Jenna and Craig; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hilltown.
