Stefan Hauschild, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, at his home.  He was 92.

He was the loving husband of Elisabeth (Eder) Hauschild.  The couple had celebrated their 66 ^th Wedding Anniversary on September 24, 2021.

Born in Hungary to the late Ferdinand and Theresa (Mantsch) Hauschild, he fled with his family to Austria following World War II before immigrating to the United States in 1956.

Mr. Hauschild was employed as a meat cutter for the Hatfield Packing Co., Hatfield, PA, for 18 years until retiring.  Previously, he worked for the former C. D. Moyer Co., Silverdale, PA, for many years.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown, PA.

An avid fisherman, Mr. Hauschild will be remembered for his strength and his penchant for chopping wood.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving with his wife are two children, Ernst Hauschild and his wife Linda, of Millville, NJ, and Helga Detweiler and her husband Richard, of Sellersville; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Hauschild, of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren, Matthew Hauschild and his wife Mika, of Chicago, IL, Brandon Detweiler, of Milford, NJ, Colin Detweiler, of Pennsburg, PA, and Shane Hauschild and his wife Jenna, of Kansas City; and six great-grandchildren, Mia Hauschild, Konnor Detweiler, Ella Hauschild, Victoria Hauschild, Matthias Hauschild and Reid Hauschild.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anton Hauschild, and a brother who was killed while serving during World War II.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Grand View Hospice for their compassionate care and thoughtfulness.

His Funeral Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
