Shirley A. Whitebread of Telford, PA passed away unexpectedly in her home on March 30, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late George and Thersa (Bower) Pifer and the second youngest of eight children.  In 1947, Shirley met and married her husband, Earl E. Whitebread who passed away in 2003.

Shirley and Earl moved to Telford with their children, and she worked for Jostens for many years before retiring in 1982.

In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed planting flowers, her favorite being geraniums.  She also loved watching television, especially Jeopardy, Dancing with the Stars and Wheel of Fortune.  Another passion of Shirley's was traveling to the shore and going to the casino, but most of all she cherished being with her loving family.

Shirley is survived by three children, David E. Whitebread (Marilyn) of Schwenksville, PA, Richard L. Whitebread (Mary) of Harleysville, and Lisa Marie Engarde (Edward) of Quakertown; seven grandchildren, David, Joel, Travis, Jeremy, Devin, Casey and Michael; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Shirley is predeceased by her siblings, Oscar, Carl, Donnie, Dorothy, Geraldine, Thelma and Mary; and three grandchildren, Jarret, Chris, and Tristan.

Shirley's service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St. Telford, PA 18969.  Friends and family are invited for a visitation prior to the service from 10-11AM.
