Shirley Rahmer, 90, formerly of Telford, PA  passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the  Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lansdale, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert R. Rahmer who passed away in March of 2023.

Born in Telford, PA, she was a daughter of the late Russell Yerk and Laura (Frederick) Yerk.

Before retirement in 1960, Shirley worked at a former cigar factory and the former American Olean Tile.

In her free time, Shirley was a long time Avon Representative, enjoyed roller skating, babysitting, listening to music, playing the Hawaiian guitar, loved going to the beach, talking to people and was known to have the "gift of gab."  She also loved dogs, helping others and was there for someone in need.  She was active in vacation bible school at church as well as being a part of their kitchen committee.

Shirley is survived by a daughter Melanie Rahmer of Telford, PA and a son Mark Rahmer also of Telford, PA;  a sister Lana Cairns and her husband David of Pennsburg, PA and two grand dogs Murphy and Minkah.  She was predeceased by her brother Merrill Yerk.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 11:00AM in the Trinity United Church of Christ 101 S. Main St. Telford, PA 18969. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the Church.  Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery, 222 East Broad Street, Telford, PA 18969.
