Shirley Ann Crawford, of Hilltown Twp., PA, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at her home.  She was 87.

She was the loving wife of Alfred E. Crawford, Jr.  The couple had celebrated their 69 ^th Wedding Anniversary on July 25, 2022.

Born in Lansdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer N. and Carrie (Krupp) Gehman.

Mrs. Crawford was employed as a nurses' aide at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA, for nine years during the 1970's and 1980's.

A former member of the Dublin Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Dublin, PA, she volunteered at Norristown State Hospital, Norristown, PA, during the 1980's.  An avid gardener, she enjoyed tending to her flower beds.  She loved animals, especially her pet deer, sheep, ducks and rabbits that she adopted over the years.

Surviving with her husband are two sons, Kent Crawford and his wife Nenen, of Souderton, PA, and Jeffrey Crawford, of Hilltown Twp.; a daughter-in-law, Donna Crawford, of Hilltown Twp.; three grandchildren, Nicole Crawford, Erin Dallatore and her husband Zachary, and Dalton Crawford; and two great-grandsons, Michael Shaffer and Atticus Dallatore.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Timothy Crawford, on December 23, 2020; four brothers, Elmer, Harry, Lester and Robert Gehman; and a sister, Sarah Hunter.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
