Sarah B. Panzeter, 87, of Quakertown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Panzeter who preceded her in death in 1991.

            Born in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Bates) Whitton.

            Sarah was employed for Merck & Co. in the packaging department for 18 years and then worked at the Peter Becker Community in housekeeping until her retirement at age 63.

            In her spare time, Sarah enjoyed putting together puzzles. Being a nature lover, she enjoyed being outside whether it was tending to her garden or bird watching. She also enjoyed singing praise hymns and being in the church choir. Sarah loved helping others. She was a Sunday School teacher, a VBS leader and a volunteer of her church. She also had a love for cats.

            Sarah is survived by her children Dwayne Panzeter of FL and Lisa Smith and her husband Christopher of Quakertown, PA, also her grandchildren Megan Pankonien and her husband Brian, Travis Smith and Wesley Smith as well as two great granddaughters Avery and Elliot; also her niece Beth Yarger and her husband Charles of FL. She is preceded in death by her brother John “Jack” Whitton, Jr.

            A funeral service with a viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, PA 19438 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 Am until the time of the service. Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
