Sandra Ruth Amey, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at her home. She was 82.

            She was the loving wife of Douglas R. Amey, Jr. The couple had celebrated their 36th Wedding Anniversary on August 19, 2025.

            Born in Lansdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Morton and Mary Anna (Miller) Kerns.

            Mrs. Amey worked for many years for Kellers Creamery, Franconia, PA. Most recently, she was employed as a retail associate for Ross Dress for Less, Lansdale, PA.

            She was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sellersville (Almont), PA.

            In her free time, Mrs. Amey loved crocheting and gardening. She especially enjoyed vacationing in places like Tennessee, Canada, Alaska, and Florida.

            Surviving with her husband are her three sons, Preston Snider, of Quakertown, PA, Mark Snider, of Quakertown, PA, and Wade Snider, of Pennsburg, PA; five grandchildren, Zachary Snider, Evan Snider, Travis Snider, Andrew Snider, and Brittany Snider; four great-grandchildren, Jaycee, Julien, Maddie and Hunter; a sister, Ann Transue, of Sellersville, PA; and a brother, William Kerns and his wife Michelle, of Florida.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jared Snider, and three siblings, George Kerns, Mary Fretz and John Kerns.

            Her Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 733 Ridge Road, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Sellersville.
