Ruthann Ziegler, of Telford, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at her home.  She was 83.

She was the loving wife of Donald R. Ziegler.  The couple had celebrated their 47th Wedding Anniversary on November 20, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Anna (Conrad) Wiley.  She was a 1958 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, Horsham, PA, where she was a baton twirler.

A homemaker, Mrs. Ziegler was employed as a secretary for Merchandise Research Laboratories, Glenside, PA during the early 1970's.

Recently, since her illness, Mrs. Ziegler attended via online Re:New Bible Church, Perkasie, PA.  She was a former member of Branch Creek Community Church, Harleysville, PA, where she volunteered in the nursery, the library, as a greeter and at the church festivals.

She volunteered for many years in the clothing store section of the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes, Souderton, PA.

Mrs. Ziegler loved tending to her flower gardens and taking photographs especially of her flowers.  She enjoyed decorating her home, crocheting, visiting the beach, and lighthouses.  Her greatest joy was found in taking care of her family.

Surviving with her husband are two children, Stephen M. Ziegler and his wife Lizabeth, of Milford Square, PA, and Krysta J. Gray and her husband Gary, of Souderton, PA; four grandchildren, Krystina Gray, Timothy Gray, Aiden Ziegler and Avery Ziegler; a brother, Wayne Wiley and his wife Patti, of Horsham, PA; and a sister, Joan Shvetz, of Woxall, PA.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.
