Ruth L. Streapy, of Sellersville and formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Genesis Health Care – Quakertown Center, Quakertown, PA.  She was 91.

She was the loving wife of 67 years of the late Willard L. Streapy until his passing on January 21, 2021.

Born in Bristol, PA, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Leah (Rodgers) Godshall.  She was a 1950 graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Perkasie.

Mrs. Streapy worked as a seamstress for the former H & F Clothing Factory, Perkasie, PA, for 18 years.  Then, she provided home care for nine years until retiring.

She was a member of Faith Church, Sellersville, PA.

An avid reader, Mrs. Streapy enjoyed spending time at the library.  She loved gardening and tending to her flowers as well as watching wildlife, especially birds.

She is survived by a son, Mark R. Streapy and his wife Julie, of Granbury, TX; and a granddaughter, Sara Streapy.  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Nase, Gladys Sell and Betty Scheib.

Graveside Services with interment in Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek Cemetery, Telford, PA, will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucks County Free Library – Samuel Pierce Branch, 491 Arthur Avenue, Perkasie, PA  18944.
