November 3, 1950 – January 16, 2023
Ruth E. Kling, of Souderton, PA, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp., PA. She was 72.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Perry) Kite. A 1969 graduate of North Penn High School, Lansdale, PA, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Messiah College, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Ms. Kling began her career as a nurses' assistant by first working as a volunteer and then gaining employment with Paradise Manor, Hatfield, PA, where she worked for over 30 years until her passing.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lansdale, PA, where she sang in the Church Choir and served as a Greeter.
An accomplished pianist who taught her children to play as well, Ms. Kling enjoyed working in digital arts during her free time. And, she was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
She is survived by five children, Brian D. Kling, of Glenolden, PA, Michael A. Kling and his wife Karen, of Perkasie, PA, Brandon J. Kling, of Lynchburg, VA, Kari A. Kling, of Souderton, PA, and Nathaniel K. Kling, also of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Brett, Gavin and Ryker Kling; and three brothers, James Kite and his wife Maureen, of Pensacola, FL, Dennis Kite, of Kutztown, PA, and Daniel Kite and his wife Betty, of Lewis Center, OH.
Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1380 S. Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family of George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Last Chance Ranch, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
