Russell H. Miller, III, 86, of Telford, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Lutheran Community at Telford in Telford, PA.

            He was the loving husband of Judy Miller, in which they were married for 55 years in July.

            Born in Abington, PA, he was a son of the late Russell H. Miller Jr. and Emma (Oldham) Miller.

            Russell was an antique dealer at Iron Masters Mansion in Green Lane for more than 44 years as well as an Associate Professor with Cal State Fullerton. He earned his doctorate degree at the age of 27 from the University of Maryland. His education degree took him to work at Fox Chase Manor, Abington High School and Penn State, Main Campus.

            In his spare time, Russell was a thorough researcher, “scholarly,” loved reading books and medieval literature. He handled 18th-century and 19th-century ceramics, loved to travel, especially to National Parks out in the Southwestern part of the United States and while doing so he enjoyed teaching his nieces and nephews on those trips about the history and nature. He loved to cook. Most of all he loved being with family.

           In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by his brother Edward Miller of Flemington, NJ and his cousins Mark and Judy Maile.

           A memorial service with a visitation will be held at the Lutheran Community @ Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA 18969 in the Luther Rose Chapel on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until the time of the service.
