Roy D. Becker, 70, of Souderton, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 12, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Roy is survived by his loving wife Kathleen (Wenner), having celebrated their 48 ^th wedding anniversary.

Born in West Rockhill Township, Roy was a son of John N. Becker Sr. and the late Dorothy (Nemec) Becker.  He graduated from Souderton Area High School in 1971 and spent over thirty years working for the former Ford Motor Company in Lansdale.

Roy loved visiting Long Beach Island, NJ and his cabin in Little Mud Pond in the Poconos.  In his spare time, Roy enjoyed tinkering and fixing things, especially cars.  He was known for his jokes and was a dedicated friend, attending breakfasts at Franconia Café and taking his dog Lucy for walks.  Roy also dedicated his time to helping out at Emmanuel Lutheran Church as an usher and greeting people and even belonged to various groups there, including a bible study.

In addition to his wife and father, Roy is survived by his son, Patrick Becker (Erica) of Norristown and his daughter, Christine Oliver (Edward) of Boyertown.  Roy is also survived by a brother, John N. Becker Jr. (Elaine) of Harleysville and a granddog Taffi.  In addition to his mother, Roy is predeceased by his brother, David Becker.

Mr. Becker's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21 ^st , 2022 at 11:00AM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  69 West Broad Street in Souderton, PA.  Friends and family are invited to greet the family from 10-11 at the church.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roy's memory to The E-Meal Ministry at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. 69 West Broad Street in Souderton, PA.
