Roxane "Roxy" Ida (Muir) VanValkenburgh, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital – Upper Bucks Campus, Milford Twp., PA.  She was 46.

Born October 16, 1977 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roderick MacKenzie and Roberta Ida (Meyers) Muir.  She was a 1995 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.

A homemaker, Ms. VanValkenburgh always put her family first and enjoyed spending time with family and doing anything creative.

Ms. VanValkenburgh was a former member of St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

From a young age, Roxane loved anything fashion and beauty. You could always find her testing new makeup techniques or finding any reason to put together the perfect outfit. She also loved to dance, sing, and watch television, especially General Hospital and movies.

She is survived by two children, DaisyMae Marie VanValkenburgh-Haftel and her husband Eric, of West Orange, NJ, and Steven Paul VanValkenburgh, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY; a brother, Roderick MacKenzie Muir, II of Perkasie, PA; a nephew Roderick MacKenzie Muir III, of Perkasie, PA; and her former husband, Steven Paul VanValkenburgh, of Perkasie, PA.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Lynn Muir-Zarro, a father, Roderick MacKenzie Muir, and a mother, Roberta Ida (Meyers) Muir.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Services to be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
