Ronald Barry Casper Sr. of Telford, PA, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 13, 2024, at his home. He was 81.

He was the loving husband of Carol Jean (Bottke) Casper. The couple celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary on June 3, 2024.

Born In Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Jacob Casper Sr. and Naomi B. (Wilent) Casper.

He was a 1961 graduate of the Philadelphia High School of Agriculture and Horticulture.  Ron was a member of Carpenter's Union 1595 and 1093 where he completed an apprenticeship and worked for 35 years. Ron also worked with his brother and took pride in the home he built for his family.

Ron was a member of Little Zion Lutheran Church, Telford PA.  Ron would love to go up to their cabin in Wellsboro with his family and loved to hunt and fish up there. He also enjoyed being the scout master for a special needs troop. As an animal lover Ronald enjoyed barrel racing and going on trail rides with his family, as well as raising finches and parakeets for many years in the show circuit with his wife, Carol Jean Bottke Casper.

When he wasn't traveling or participating in his other hobbies, he loved watching game shows with his grandchildren and teaching them how to fish, spending any time with his family.

Surviving with his wife are his two children, Kathi J. Casper-Rapp and her husband Kenneth "Kenny", of Trappe, PA, and Kenneth C. Casper, of Telford, PA; three grandchildren, Alexis Stover, Alanna Stover, and Jasmine Casper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ryan B. Casper who passed away in 1980, and Ronald B. Casper Jr. who passed away in 2015; two brothers, Charles "Butch" J. Casper Jr., Richard A. Casper and a sister Cheryl B. Casper-Gallant.

His Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Little Zion Lutheran Church, 267 Morwood Road, Telford, PA, for a viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
