Robert Snider, of Silverdale and formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.  He was 87.

He was the husband of Joan (Stock) Snider.  The couple had celebrated their 65 ^th Wedding Anniversary on September 22, 2021.

Born in New Galena, PA, he was the son of the late Walter Roy Snider and the late Louise (Perkins) Landis.

He proudly served with the U. S. Marine Corps from April 1957 until his honorable discharge in April 1959.

Mr. Snider worked as a self-employed truck driver for over 50 years.

He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hilltown, PA.

A former member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1539, Sellersville, PA, he especially enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with everything and working on cars.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he looked forward to his daily walks.  He also was a traveling and camping enthusiast; but, most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving with his wife are three children, David Snider and his wife DeAnne, of Green Lane, PA, Diane Gall and her husband Chris, of Doylestown, PA, and Dale Snider, of Quakertown, PA; ten grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Marie Cassel and her husband Kenneth of Souderton, PA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.

His Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Drive, Hilltown, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Interment with military honors will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bucks County Veterans Affairs, 55 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA  18901.
