Robert F. Schaffer, 89, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at St. Lukes Hospital Upper Bucks Campus.

He and his beloved wife Audrey (McBride) Schaffer celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary  on March 24, 2025.

Born in the house his father built in Chalfont, PA, he was a son of the late Sam and Sadie (Seidel) Schaffer.

Mr. Schaffer worked in manufacturing for Asplundh. He later worked in Environmental Services at Grand View Hospital.

Outside of work, Bob always enjoyed time spent with friends and family and especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as his hobbies of collecting "O" Gauge toy trains, classic cars, and tractors.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Robert and Bruce (Linda); eight grandchildren: Kelli (Dan), Robert. Bethany, Ryan (Michelle), Jeremia (Cynthia), Daniel, Stephanie (Ron), and Brittany; eight great grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, Sophia, Skylar, Aiva, Khloi, Maybel, and Kellin; and his twin brother Richard (Carol). Bob was predeceased by his daughter Michelle.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:30 AM in the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
