Robert McCormick, 92, of Franconia Twp., passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Souderton Mennonite Homes.  He was the beloved husband of 63 years to the late Dorothy T. (Caine) McCormick who died in 2015.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Edward V. and Agnes E. (Brennan) McCormick.

He was employed as an airbrake inspector for Reading Railroad for 38 prior to his retirement.

Mr. McCormick was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing pinochle, taking trips to the casino, playing with his grandchildren, and doing crossword puzzles.

He is survived by five sons:  Robert McCormick and his wife Zoi of Hatfield, John McCormick and his wife Debbie of South Carolina, Patrick McCormick of Hatfield, Matthew McCormick and his wife Debbie of Harleysville, Michael McCormick of Coopersburg, three daughters:  Eileen Gilmore and her husband Mark of Coopersburg, Dorothy Zoccola and her husband Tony of Maryland, Judy McCormick and her husband  Michael O'Connor of Chalfont, 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11 AM in St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA 19440.  Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.  Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Vincent DePaul Society, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA 19440.
