Obituary

Robert G. Kober, 95, of Sellersville PA, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Tylersport PA, he was the son of the late George W. and Elsie B (Fischer) Kober.

Robert was employed as a foreman in the textile industry in Philadelphia for over 30 years, before moving to the former Lansdale Manufacturing Co. in Lansdale.

Robert loved spending time out of doors, whether it was mowing his yard or playing volleyball or hosting family and work picnics at his home. Robert's true passion was baseball, a well-known local pitcher, "Beautiful Bob" as he was known played for the former Sell-Perk High School as well as semi pro teams the Tylersport Tigers and the Franconia baseball teams.

Robert was also an avid Hunter and had a current Pa. Hunting License for the 2024-2025 season.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his son Jeffrey R. Kober and his wife Kimberly F., of East Greenville, PA., a granddaughter Megan, and her husband Alex and a great granddaughter Aria.

Robert was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley (Spoerl) Kober, his daughter Wendi Kober and sisters, Hazel Kober, Helen, Egner and Betty Dietz.

A memorial service with a visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Sadler Suess Funeral Home,  33 N. Main St., Telford, PA. 18969.   Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of the service in the Funeral Home. Interment will be held private at the convenience of the family.
