Robert Reddick,
Jr.
November 25, 1938 – December 7, 2022
Robert Reddick, Jr., of East Rockhill Twp., PA, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at his home. He was 84.
He was the loving husband of 52 years of the late Maryann M. (Dryden) Reddick until her passing on July 18, 2015.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he was the son of the late Jessie (Muir) and Robert Reddick, Sr. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Reddick began his career in communications working for the former Bell Telephone Company for 25 years. Then, he owned and operated Pennridge Telephone for 25 years until retiring.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to the casinos. He took pride in his gardens and grew grapes, making his own wines. Most of all, he will be remembered for his love for his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons, Robert G. Reddick and his wife Christine, of Lansdale, PA, and Richard A. Reddick and his wife Robin, of Coopersburg, PA; seven grandchildren, Ashley E. Franck and her husband Joseph, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, Samantha C. Blagus, of Lansdale, Robert G. Reddick, Jr. and his fiancée Samantha A. Myers, of Lancaster, PA, Charles T. Wiley, of Perkasie, PA, Raymond Domalewski and his fiancée Amy Olinger, of Green Lane, PA, Rachael Kapsak and her husband Andrew, of Perkasie, and Rhiannon Smith and her husband Kevin, of Danboro, PA; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jennifer Mayer and her husband Robert, of Ocean City, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather A. Benner, on August 20, 2014, and a sister, Isobel Murray.
His Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960 or to the Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
Arrangements are by the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.
