Robert A. Horner, Jr., 80, of Telford, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Grandview Hospital, Sellersville, PA.

Born in Altoona, PA, Robert was a son of the late Robert A. and Virginia (Amick) Horner, Sr.

Robert was a veteran, having proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed as an Animal Technician for Merck & Co. West Point, PA and GSK, Collegeville, for many years.  Following retirement, he continued to work as the "coffee guy" at Wawa, as he loved greeting everyone in the morning.

In his spare time, Robert enjoyed adventures to the casinos, riding his motorcycle and telling jokes and stories. Robert was a member of the Honda Goldwing Motorcycle group, and a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, with 40 years of sobriety.  He was an avid sports fan of all Philadelphia teams and Penn State football.

Robert is survived by his son, Ken Horner, and his wife Marcia of Collegeville, PA, daughters; Laurie Conard of Haddon Heights NJ, Jennifer Horner and her husband Matthew Zakeosian of Perkasie, PA, and Christina Horner and her husband Mark Reichman of South Orange, NJ. Robert is also survived by grandchildren; Kayla, Amber, Ashley, Christopher and Kellen, and great grandchildren; Sienna, Ella, Addilyn and Tyler.  In addition to his children and grandchildren, he is survived by his nephews; William (Lisa), Richard (Bob) and Kevin Schuster of Hanover, PA and their families.  He was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law William and Emily Schuster.

Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
