Robert Histand,  93, of Harleysville, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at his residence.

He was the loving husband of the late Doris Histand until her passing in 2009.

He grew up in Hilltown Township and was a son of the late Harvey W. and Martha (Hendricks) Histand.

Robert had been employed for 15 years as a delivery driver for the former Heston S. Swartley Fuel Oil Co. He also worked for Paul S. Hendricks Inc.  Robert had also worked in the Dairy department in the former Clemens supermarket. He also worked as a delivery driver for the former Rosenberger family dairies in Hatfield. Upon his retirement, Robert worked as a delivery driver for the NAPA Auto parts store in Telford. Robert enjoyed spending time with friends and meeting new people, he was considered a great "conversationalist".  Robert faithfully cared for his daughter Donna after mom's passing.  He also loved to handle small projects around his house. Robert was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church and former member of Grace Bible Church, Souderton, where he had sung in a men's quartet and choir.

Robert is survived by his children David Histand and his wife Nancy of Perkasie, PA, Jeffrey Histand and his wife Sharon of Ocean Isle Beach NC, Donna Histand of Harleysville, PA and Carol Stafford and her husband Keith of Greer, SC. He is also survived by grandchildren, Brian, Julie, Matthew, Andrew, Stephen, Warren, Kevin, Nathan, and Janelle. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.

He is also survived by his Oldest Sister Miriam Histand in Oregon he is also survived by his brother-in-law Ray Nase, as well as his longtime friend Carolyn Bechtel.

Robert was preceded in death by his brothers Claude and Arthur Histand, and his sisters; Viola Myers and Gertrude Histand.

Robert's Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Sadler-Suess Funeral Home and Crematory 33 N. Main Street, Telford PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the time of the service in the funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at  Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA  19468.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Robert's name may be made to Upper Bucks Christian School, 2310 Muskrat Road, Sellersville, PA  18960 or to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX  75231
