Robert A. Gradel, 78, of Souderton passed away in his home on June 29, 2023.

Born in Sellersville, he was a son of A. Robert and Dorothy (Jones) Gradel.

After graduating high school, Robert was a flight engineer with the Navy for twenty-three years.  He later owned Gradel Brothers Excavating along with his family.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin in the mountains.  He was also known for being a very charitable person.

He is survived by sons Robert (Tammy) of Pensacola, FL and Richard (Janelle) of Merit, TX; siblings, Elizabeth Fazzolari (Nick) of Lansdale, Mary Lou Gradel of Souderton, Michael Gradel of Souderton, and Rodney (Gladys) of North Carolina; grandchildren, Robin, Courtney, Brittany and Michael; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, Telford, PA.
