Robert D. Gilmore, 82, of Sellersville, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026.  He was the loving husband of 57 years to Mary Frances (Schwartz) Gilmore.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Christopher and Ethel (Furner) Gilmore.

After graduating from high school, he was employed as a steamfitter by Local 420 for over 30 years.  Bob also proudly served our country as a Vietnam War Veteran.

Bob  was always keeping busy as a handyman and doing household chores. He enjoyed shopping from QVC for family gifts. He cherished his time spent with family, especially being the biggest fan of his children and grandkid’s activities. He also enjoyed weekly visits with high school friends to reminisce and enjoy each other’s company.

In addition to his wife, Mary, Robert is survived by his four children: daughter Teresa Linck and her husband Christopher of Sellersville, PA, son Michael Gilmore and his partner Jenn Pantano of Lansdale, PA, son Thomas Gilmore and his wife Christie of King of Prussia, PA, and daughter Kathy Wisnoff and her husband Lew of Horsham, PA, along with eleven grandchildren: Jacob, Emily, Samantha, Jesse, Madelyn, Molly, Tristan, Brooke, Stella, Gus, and Calvin .

Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one’s choosing.
