Robert W. Gabel, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice, Bethlehem, PA.  He was 67.

Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late William H. and Dorothy S. (Wismer) Gabel.  He was a 1976 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie.

Bob was employed as a landscaper for Nelson Snyder Landscaping, Sellersville, PA, for many years until retiring.  Previously, he worked as a caretaker for the former William Heefner Estate, and he worked on the Gabel Family Farm in Bedminster Township, PA, raising crops and pigs.

He was a member of Peace Tohickon Lutheran Church, Perkasie.

Bob loved raising animals, particularly pigs and rabbits. An avid vegetable gardener, he was fond of visiting area local flea markets, especially the Quakertown Flea Market, as well as searching for arrowheads.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years.

He is survived by two brothers, John W. Gabel and his partner Vickie Smith, and Edward A. Gabel, all of Perkasie; four nephews, Kevin, James and Travis Smith, and Patrick Strohl; a great-nephew, Leon; and two great-nieces, Hazel and Reese.

His Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Tohickon Union Cemetery, Perkasie (Weisel), PA.
