Rita Kay Fritz, 64, of Souderton, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, in the Select Care Recovery Hospital in Willingboro, NJ.

She and her beloved husband Richard J. Fritz would have celebrated their 33 ^rd wedding anniversary in October, 2022.

Born in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Cassel) Keller.  A 1976 graduate of Souderton High School, she went on to earn her Associate's Degree from Lansdale School of Business.

She was employed as a material handler for the former Pilgrim's Pride and the former Wampler-Longacre Poultry in Franconia for more than 28 years.

Rita was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Souderton.  One who loved genealogy, she was a member of the PA Historical Society, and in her earlier years, the Bucks and Montgomery County Historical Societies.  She loved cooking, watching the Food Network, and had a large collection of cookbooks.  Rita enjoyed time with family, taking trips, especially to Dutch Wonderland, and caring for her pet birds.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her brother, James R. Keller.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 11 AM in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 69 W. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964.  Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Souderton, PA.  Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be made in Rita's name to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
