Obituary

            Richard C. Hendricks, of Sellersville, PA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at his home. He was 59.

            Born in Quakertown, PA, he was the son of Constance A. “Connie” (Eynon) Hendricks, of Sellersville, and the late Richard K. Hendricks, Jr.

            He was a 1985 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, where he sang in the Choir and Chamber Choir and participated in the high school musicals.

            Richard worked as a nurses’ aide for various agencies for many years. He also had been employed for a number of years by the American Red Cross as part of the blood drives staff.

            He was a member of Solomon’s United Church of Christ, Bedminster Twp., PA.

            A skilled bowler, Richard belonged to a bowling league and was a regional bowling professional. He especially enjoyed listening to his favorite gospel band, “The Redeemed Quartet”. And, he loved his dog and cats.

            He is survived by a brother, Thomas K. Hendricks, of Sellersville; two nephews, Thomas Hendricks, Jr., and Kodi Hendricks and his girlfriend Bonnie, all of Sellersville; and a maternal uncle, Barry Eynon and his wife Patricia, and their sons, Jeffrey, Steven and Jared.

            His Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Kellers Church Cemetery, Kellers Church, PA.
