Obituary

Richard P. DeJulio, of Perkasie, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.  He was 64.

He was the loving husband of Tracy L. (McCloskey) DeJulio. The couple celebrated their 32nd Wedding Anniversary on October 24, 2024.

Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Dasconio) DeJulio.

Richard was employed as a sheet metal worker for the Paradigm Tool Manufacturing Co., Hatboro, PA, for a brief period of time until retiring in 2022 due to illness. Previously, he worked for Boyd Machine Co., Inc., Souderton, PA, and the former C. W. Hayden Precision Sheet Metal Company.

Rich and Tracy liked spending time in Lancaster enjoying many weekend getaways. They loved the wide-open spaces, admiring the landscape and the most beautiful sunsets. Rich liked watching the tractors cut through the farmlands and admired the lifestyle of the Amish. Hard working, simplistic and great food. Rich was a fan of old western tv shows and movies featuring John Wayne. Rich enjoyed listening to the music of the 70's and 80's. Oftened grabbing Tracy for impromptu dances. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman especially with his Dad and his late father-in-law. He was a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.

Surviving with his wife are a sister, Ginny Bush and her husband John, of Quakertown, PA; his mother-in-law, Millie McCloskey, of Perkasie; his brothers-in-law, Michael McCloskey, of Perkasie, Brian McCloskey and his wife April, of Quakertown, PA, Todd McCloskey, of Coopersburg, PA, and Kevin McCloskey and his fiance Vickey, also of Perkasie; a sister-of-the-heart, Deborah Russo and her companion Robert, of Catasauqua, PA; a niece and goddaughter, Colleen Bush; a nephew, Jonathan Bush and his wife Amy; a niece, Silver Moyer; a nephew, Jeremy Moyer and his wife Jamie; a niece, Samantha DiVergigelis and her wife Angela; a nephew, Anthony DiVergigelis; a nephew, Tyler McCloskey; a nephew, Cooper McCloskey; a great-niece, Audrey;  a great-nephew, Logan.; two goddaughters Samantha Creyer and Olivia Creyer; several aunts; and many, many cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George DeJulio.

The Family will receive friends from 3:30 to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA.

Following the calling period, the family invites you to gather at 5:30 PM for a time of remembrance and light fare and refreshments at St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, 615 E Walnut St. Perkasie, 18944
