Richard Dean Moyer, of Sellersville, PA, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, August 4, 2023.  He was 63.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Nancy J. (Pennapacker) Moyer, of Sellersville, and the late George L. Moyer.  He was a 1977 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA.

He served with the Pennsylvania National Guard, 228th Brigade Support Battalion, Sellersville.

Richard was employed as a welder for RONCO, Nazareth, PA, for many years until retiring.  Previously, he worked for Universal Millwright, Perkasie, PA.

A fishing enthusiast, he was a former member of Great Swamp Fish & Game, Quakertown, PA.  He will be remembered as an avid NASCAR and Dallas Cowboys Football fan.

Surviving with his mother are a brother, G. Michael Moyer and his wife Beth, of Perkasie; two sisters, Joan E. Michener and her husband Thomas, of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and Traci Lee Stover, of Perkasie; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Renee Moyer, in 1978, a brother, Kenneth Norman Moyer, in 2019, and his best friend, Bruno.

There will be no services.
