Raymond A. Weidner, of Perkasie, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, Sellersville, PA.  He was 79.

He was the husband of Joan E. (Holt) Weidner who passed away on August 22, 2018.

Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late R. Atwood and Anne Ralston (Graham) Weidner.  He was a 1962 graduate of Pennridge High School.

Ray was a Plumbing and Heating Technician.  He started working for his father's business in 1956.  From 1983 thru 1990 he owned and operated R.A. Weidner Plumbing and Heating, Perkasie.  In 1988, he started doing municipal sewer line maintenance, which he did until his retirement in 2011.

He was an active member of the Perkasie Lions Club where he served as President in 1990 – 1991 as well as numerous other committees.   A car enthusiast, he was a member of the Motorvators Car Club and the Truck Association of Pennsylvania, owning several antique firetrucks.  He was a member of the Two Cylinder Club.  Ray also had his pilot's license and from 1968 thru 1978 was in a partnership owning a Piper Comanche airplane.   He was also a member of the Pennridge Class of 1962 Reunion Committee.

He is survived by two daughters, Kylene Koplin and her husband Timothy, of Hellertown, PA and Alysha Freed and her husband Drew, of Quakertown, PA; three grandchildren, Kaden, Quintin and Theo Freed; sisters, Darlene Anne Condict and her husband Newton, Jr., of Coopersburg, PA and Pollene Weidner VanLeer and her husband Joseph, of Quakertown. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, E. Mae Weidner.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch St., Perkasie, PA.  Interment will be held privately in South Perkasie Evangelical Cemetery, Perkasie, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Perkasie Lions Club, P.O. Box 332, Perkasie, PA  18944.
