Priscilla I. "Pierce" Bishop, of Perkasie, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at her home.  She was 81.

She was the loving wife of W. Dale Bishop.  The couple celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary on April 30, 2023.

Born in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Dorothy L. (Graver) Oettel.  She was a member of the Pennridge High School Class of 1960, Perkasie, PA.

After raising the couple's children, Mrs. Bishop worked as a Teacher's Aide in the Souderton School District for a number of years.  Then, she was employed by Nutrisystem, Souderton, PA, before working as a bank teller for UNIVEST at its Telford and Franconia locations for a combined 6+ years until retiring.

She attended Calvary Church of Souderton, Souderton, PA.

In her younger years, Mrs. Bishop enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Souderton Jayceettes.  A dedicated Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan, she was fond of tending to her flower gardens and cooking.  Most of all, she loved taking care of her family.

Surviving with her husband are four children, Collette D. Bishop, of Tuckerton, NJ, Gary D. Bishop and his wife Mary, of Allentown, PA, Timothy B. Bishop and his wife Amy, of Parkton, MD, and C. Scott Bishop and his wife Courtney, of Telford, PA; and nine grandchildren, Brittany, Kelsey, Alex, Nicholas, Bryan, Justin, Casey, Anna and Sara.

Her Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in South Perkasie Evangelical Cemetery, Perkasie.
