Phyllis D Krause of the Lutheran Community at Telford, formerly of Sellersville and Upper Black Eddy, peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the Lutheran Community Skilled Nursing Center in Telford.

She was the beloved wife and best friend to her husband, the late William H Krause, for 64 wonderful years.  She is preceded in death by her sisters Elenor (Dobson) Johnston, Joan (Dobson) Harris, and brothers Kenneth and John Dobson.

Born in Philadelphia on February 15, 1937, Phyllis was a daughter of the late Edgar and Ethel (Staton) Dobson.

As a post-depression "baby", Phyllis learned the meaning of sacrifice, the value of a dollar, and lived her life with grace and gratitude for her many blessings.   She attended Roxborough High School, worked numerous jobs before marrying, and later started her career with Burgess and Why Paper Box Co., learning the Lithography trade.  She was retired from Roto Cylinders of Palmyra NJ as a Lithographer and a proud member of the Lithographers' Union GCIU Local 14M.

Together with her husband Bill, Phyllis loved to travel and enjoyed trips to Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Alaska.  Even after the death of her husband, she remained active with family and a cherished group of friends in the Lutheran Community at Telford.  She traveled to numerous shows, charity events, gathering for holidays, playing bingo, bowling, card games, and nights of wine and cheese parties.  In 2023 she even traveled to Alaska with the whole family.  Phyllis was also an avid Genealogy researcher, having traced the family ties back five generations.

She is survived by her devoted son William N. Krause (Linda) of Perkasie, PA and her beloved grandchildren; William J Krause (Sara) of Vero Beach, FL, and Captain Laura A. Krause of Augusta, GA.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 1, 2024 in the Luther Rose Chapel at the Lutheran Community at Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA, 18969. Family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11AM, prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Keller's Church Cemetery, Perkasie PA.
