Phyllis R. Greiser, 77, of Souderton, PA,  passed away at the Souderton Mennonite Home on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

She is the wife of the late Robert Greiser who passed away in the line of duty, as a firefighter, on December 20, 2019. They were married for 53 years before his passing.

Born in Sunbury, PA, she was a daughter of the late William Davies and Emily (Morris) Davies.                                    .

She  was employed by Souderton Area School District where she worked in the cafeteria and was also one of their crossing guards.

Phyllis was a member of Souderton Mennonite Church in which she was also a volunteer.  She was a member of the Perseverance Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in Souderton, PA.

In her spare time, she enjoyed working with the youth group in the church, traveling, shopping and watching her beloved Phillies.  She also enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Michelle O'Rourke and her husband Russell of Telford, PA, her sons K. James Greiser and his wife Melissa of Souderton, PA and Kevin Greiser and his companion Debbie Boswell of Souderton, PA.  She is also survived by six grandchildren; Ken, Joseph, Kyle, Emily, Benjamin and Arianna and a brother Donald Davies and his wife Mercedes of Perkasie, PA.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith A. Greiser  and her grandson Aiden O'Rourke.

A Memorial  Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025,  at 1:30 PM in the Souderton Mennonite Church, 105 West Chestnut St., Souderton, PA  18964.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Perseverance Fire Company, 266 N. 2nd Street, Souderton, PA  18964.
