Philomena Ann Botson, of Lima, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Lima (Media), PA.  She was 89.

Born in Girardville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Emidio and Philomena (Zacchi) Tenaglia. She was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters.

She grew up in Philadelphia where she met and married Charles Matthew Botson in 1955 and had 4 children. She is survived by her son, Charles Allen Botson (wife Janet and their two children (two predeceased), two grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren), predeceased by her daughter, Dona Marie Dean (survived by husband Jeff and their four children and three grandchildren), predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Anne Botson and survived by her daughter, Phyllis Delate (husband Ed and their 2 children).

She came to faith in Christ in 1990. She led a quiet life, working for a living for a packaging plant in Newark, DE, eventually retiring and living in Secane, PA and then in Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Lima, Pa. She was most proud of her four children and wanted nothing more than to hear of their well-being and success.

Her Graveside Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
