Obituary

Philip F. Allebach, of Hilltown Twp., PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at his home.  He was 69.

He was the loving husband and high school sweetheart of Susan E. (McGovern) Allebach.  The couple had celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary on April 28, 2025.

Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Pastor Roy M. and Verna (Freed) Allebach.  He was a 1974 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, PA, where he earned multiple letters as a member of the football and track teams.  His senior year he was named the MVP of the track team.

Phil worked in the Auto Parts Department for the Bergey's Wholesale Parts at its Colmar, Franconia Truck Garage, Lansdale and Allentown, PA, locations over the course of 30 years until retiring in 2022.  Previously, he was employed as a parts manager for the Hatfield Auto Auction, Hatfield, PA, and he also had worked for the former Todd Motors Co. and the Penn Jersey Co.

He was a lifetime member of the Pennridge Christian Fellowship (formerly known as the Pennridge Full Gospel Tabernacle), Blooming Glen, PA, where he served as a Deacon, Usher and Boys Club Leader, taught Sunday School and was Manager of the Church Softball Team.

An avid Philadelphia sports fan, Phil enjoyed restoring antique furniture and spent countless hours outside, lovingly tending to his flower beds and trees.  His beautiful yard was a reflection of the patience and care he gave to everything in his life.  His greatest joy was participating from the sideline at his children's and grandchildren's sports activities as a mentor, coach and spectator. Family was everything to him.  His favorite moments were spent fishing with his grandsons and the simple, joyous games of catch in the backyard.

Surviving with his wife are three children, April Mascia and her husband Henry III, of Dobbs Ferry, NY, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Zeeb and her husband Christopher, of Lancaster, PA, and Philip C. Allebach and his wife Christina, of Lansdale, PA; two grandchildren, Henry Mascia IV and Ian Philip Mascia; and a brother, Roy F. Allebach and his wife Linda, of Lititz, PA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Glenn Allebach, and a sister, Esther DeGeus.

His Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Pennridge Christian Fellowship, 720 Blooming Glen Road, Blooming Glen, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in St. Stephen's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Perkasie, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pennridge Christian Fellowship Missions Fund, P. O. Box 361, Blooming Glen, PA  18911 OR to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Donation Processing Center, P. O. Box 5041, Boone, IA  50950-0041 or www.pancan.org
