Peter L. Indrisano, a 21-year resident of Souderton, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was 87.

He was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and beloved wife of over 50 years, Geraldine (Miraldi) Indrisano.

Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Anthony A. and Lena (DeStefano) Indrisano. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and proudly served his country in the United States Army Intelligence Corps.

Peter's career was in transportation sales, and he had a love of cars and trucks.

He was also an avid sports fan, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles every season. In his retired years, Peter was looking for a way to make a difference in his local community. He became study hall proctor at Souderton High School, where he enjoyed working with the students and teachers until he was 85. The Souderton students inspired Peter's own love of learning. He completed a Master's Degree in Education (with distinction) from Cabrini College in 2013.

Peter was an active member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Jeffrey P. Indrisano and his wife, Jennifer Meikle, and Gregory Indrisano and his wife, Susan; a daughter, Alison Wagner and her husband, Jeffrey, and five grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lee and a brother, Anthony.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indian Valley Education Foundation ( www.IndianValleyEF.org ) to support educational opportunities and initiatives to benefit Souderton Area School District students.
