Peter M. Hardy, of Philadelphia and formerly of Perkasie, PA, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was 64.

Born in Suffern, NY, he was the son of the late Donald H. Sr. and Beatrice E. (McCloud) Hardy.

Mr. Hardy was employed by the Perkasie Container Co., as well as Prodesco and AG Pants Factories, all in Perkasie.

An avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, he enjoyed fishing and camping as well as playing basketball over the years.

He is survived by a son, Matthew Hardy, of Oregon; two brothers, Alexander Hardy and his wife Brenda, of Perkasie, and Donald H. Hardy, Jr., of Felton, PA; and four sisters, Brenda L. Hibbs and her husband David, of Perkasie, Bertha L. Leister and her husband Terry, of East Greenville, PA, Beatrice E. Fell and her husband Keith, of Phoenix, AZ, and Christina L. Strickland and her husband Jeffrey, of Cumming, GA; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles T. Hardy and a sister, Donna L. Roman.

His Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.  Interment will follow in St. Stephen's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Perkasie.
