Paul R. Hesse, 101, of West Rockhill Township, PA, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, at The Community at Rockhill in West Rockhill Township, PA.  He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor G. (Lutz) Hesse who died in 2010 after sharing 66 years of marriage.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Kurtis R. and May (Reesner) Hesse.

As a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII, he served his country as an aviation machinist's mate from 1943-1946.

He was employed as a foreman and group leader for the U.S. Gauge – Ametek Division for 38 years, prior to his retirement.

Mr. Hesse attended Souderton Brethren in Christ Church in Souderton.  He was a member of the American Legion Warren Royer Post #234 in Souderton, Fraternal Order of the Boyertown Orioles Nest #22, and Twin Ponds Golf Club, where he played golf up until the age of 98.  In his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling and was an avid gardener.

He is survived by two daughters:  Bev Moyer and her husband Bob of Covington, PA, and Cathy Witter and her husband Jim of North East, MD.  He also has three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to The Community at Rockhill, 3250 State Rd., Sellersville, PA 18960.
