Paul O. Bolig, formerly of Quakertown and Perkasie, PA, passed away at Pennsburg Manor, Pennsburg, PA on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He was 91.
He was the loving husband of 65 years of the late Janet A. (Royer) Bolig who passed away on July 27, 2022.
Born in Hilltown, PA, he was the son of the late William Kraft Bolig and Mary Emma (Grasse) Bolig. He was a 1952 graduate of Hilltown High School, Hilltown, PA.
He served with the Pennsylvania National Guard 228th , Sellersville, PA from 1953 to 1961.
Paul worked as a machinist for the U.S. Gauge, Division of AMETEK, Sellersville, PA for 32 years, retiring in 1998. After his retirement, he worked as a bus aide for the Pennridge School District Transportation Department until 2008.
He was a member of Renew Bible Church, Perkasie and a former member of Christ Independent Church, Perkasie, where he led the youth group.
Paul loved music, especially blue grass music and he taught himself how to play the guitar after his retirement. He also enjoyed camping and building model cars and trucks. Most of all, he took care of his wife and family.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammie L. Failmezger, of Winchester, VA and two grandchildren, John Failmezger, of Suffolk, VA and Heidi Failmezger, of Asheville, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Leigh Ann in 1995, two brothers, Donald Bolig and Richard Bolig and three sisters, Jeanne Buzby, Mary Moyer and Martha Hendricks.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home & Crematory, 606 Arch St., Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
