Patrick John Michener, 74, of Telford, PA,  passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Grand View Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Veronica (Hartnett) Michener who celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on January 8, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James Michener and Dorothy T. (Ward) Michener.

Patrick graduated in 1969 from Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia.

He was a decorated military veteran who served in the Navy as a Petty Officer, First Class.  During this time, Patrick served as a Narcotics dog handler.  He served for 24 years and retired in 1988.

Mr. Michener was a life member of the American Legion, a life member of the NRA, loved the military, was very patriotic and enjoyed watching Fox News.

He was a very smart individual who loved his family, loved history, loved learning yet very opiniated.  He also was an extremely hard worker who was a great father and grandfather.

Along with his wife, Patrick is survived by his children:  James P. Michener (Jennifer) of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and Christina (Christopher) Geiger of Telford, PA.

He is also survived by his siblings: James Michener, Dorothy (Jim) Rossi of Warrington, PA; Kathleen Meyers of Delaware, Jacqueline (Jim) Shannon of Philadelphia, PA; and a sister Mary.

Patrick is also survived by his grandchildren: Justin Michener; Kody Geiger and Mackenzie Michener.

He is preceded in death by his brother Andrew Michener.

Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery and will be announced at a later date.
