Patricia Ann Wasmuth, 87, of Telford, PA, passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2024, at the Lutheran Community, Telford, PA.

She was the loving wife of the late Edward H. Wasmuth who passed away on May 4, 2024. They celebrated 65 years of marriage prior to his passing.

Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph W. Moyer and Melba A. (Stumpp) McGovern .

Mrs. Wasmuth graduated from Allentown High School in 1955 and the Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. After starting a family, a career in nursing led her to The Lutheran Community at Telford, where she rose through the ranks. While still working, she graduated from Spring Garden College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in May 1982 and became the Administrator of The Lutheran Community at Telford, a role she held for 15 years as the community expanded, until she retired in 2003.

In her free time, Mrs. Wasmuth enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling (particularly visiting lighthouses), and she was an expert seamstress and quilter.

In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Gombert. Patricia is survived by sons Edward and his wife Clarice of Norcross, GA, and Jeffrey and his wife Pam of Mohnton, PA, her son-in-law Tom Gombert of Northumberland, PA, her brother Michael McGovern and his wife Julie of Castle Hayne, NC and her sister Mary Keefe (McGovern) and her husband James of Ocean City, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren Hannah, Henry, and Hattie Wasmuth, Andrew Wasmuth and his wife Gabrielle (expecting the first great grandchild in May 2025), Lauren Wasmuth, Colin Gombert and Brooke Orris, and Evan Gombert.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Luther Rose Chapel in the Lutheran Community, Telford. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's honor to The Lutheran Community at Telford, 12 Lutheran Home Drive, Telford, PA. 18969.
